OUR PURPOSE

Board House Society began as a plan to bring back an indoor skatepark to Central Oregon. A community based center bringing together all sorts of humans. Picture action sports movie nights, skate sessions, lessons, comps, art shows, pop up markets - all of it about the community and not an individual or corporation: back to basics. 

It quickly turned into so much more. This Community Skate Project is just that - invested whole heartedly in our CO community. Through schools, camps, events, comps, BBBS, Deschutes Library, skateboard lessons and other local collaborations - our goal is to it help curate and foster togetherness through skateboarding.

THEN

We are still working our way towards an indoor space to call home - a place we can continue our programming and include even more events, community partnerships, skateboarding opportunities and of more humans coming together. We are so honored and grateful to be a part of the skate culture here and look forward to helping it continue to grow, strengthen and bring good to our corner of the world (and beyond) ~
